How often should I visit my dentist?
For optimal oral health, we recommend visiting our dental office every six months for routine dental cleanings and exams. Maintaining routine visits will help us provide timely care for any and all dental issues you may be struggling with.
How often should I brush or floss?
We recommend brushing at least twice a day, flossing at least once (preferably just before bedtime), and rinsing with a special antibacterial or fluoride-rich mouthwash.
Do you treat children?
Yes, because young children are just as susceptible the most common oral health problems as adults are.
What if I have a dental emergency after hours?
We take dental emergencies very seriously. That’s why we have a 24-hour answering service available to take your call if your emergency occurs after-hours. This service will notify us of your call so we can respond in a timely manner.
What should I do if my temporary crown breaks or comes off?
You can temporarily reattach your crown using a small amount of toothpaste or denture adhesive. This is just a temporary fix, though. Whether your temporary falls out or breaks, you should let us know as soon as possible so we can help you replace it.
Do you offer teeth whitening?
Yes, because dental stains are such a common feature of life for so many patients. With our professional whitening solutions, you can safely achieve beautiful results you’ll love.
What is sedation dentistry?
Sedation dentistry is a special service designed to help patients who struggle with dental anxiety. This very real condition keeps many patients from seeking important care every year. If you’re one of those patients, let us talk to you about the benefits of using sedation dentistry.
Are dental implants right for me?
Anyone who needs to replace one or more teeth may be a good candidate for dental implants. To find out for sure if implants are right for you, contact our dental office about a consultation visit. Based on a full exam, we can help you determine the treatment option that’s most right for you.
What should I do if my child loses a permanent tooth?
The loss of a permanent tooth requires immediate attention. The first thing you should do, after calling our dental office, is to rinse the tooth thoroughly with water but do not wipe it off. If the tooth has been out of your child’s mouth for more than 15 minutes, store it in a bag or container of milk and bring it with you to your child’s appointment. We will do everything we can to reattach the tooth.
Do you accept referrals?
Yes, we do! In fact, many of our current patients were first referred to us by another existing patient.
